We are seeking a reliable Cleaner to sanitise communal spaces and WC’s, undertaking light caretaking duties to ensure the school site is kept clean and tidy. This is to support health and safety for our community. We are able to offer some flexibility in working hours, during the school day, but the successful applicant must be able to work Monday to Friday. Additionally, you will support with the safe movement of vehicles when on our school site.
The ideal applicant will be able to understand and apply basic procedures in health and safety and hygiene, be able to operate basic equipment, and undertake manual handling and physically demanding work. In addition, the ideal applicant should also have good listening skills, an enthusiasm to learn, accuracy and ability to follow instructions, and the ability to exchange basic information verbally or in writing.
At all times, the successful applicant will work closely with our cohesive premises team, in a role that is pivotal to the successful running of the school.
In addition to flexible, term time only working, we offer enrolment in a pension scheme and training will be provided as required.
