Teacher of History

Salary: £27,186 - £42,192 per annum - Plus possible Pastoral TLR for the right candidate 

Start date: January 2023

Contract: Full time, permanent

We require a talented Teacher of History to join our Humanities department at The Victory Academy. You will be joining a team of creative and committed professionals to teach Years 7-13. You will be a motivated and enthusiastic teacher who has a positive and open approach to learning who inspires others through your passion.

The successful candidate will also teach some lessons of Victory Citizenship which includes RSE and RE.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Be a qualified History teacher
  • Passionate about teaching and learning and have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong and effective classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
  • Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum and have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum development particularly those relating to History
  • High expectations for yourself and the children to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
  • You will be dedicated to ensure that all of our children achieve their very best
  • An aspiring leader of learning and happy to grasp exciting CPD opportunities
  • Contribute to the values, ethos and the development of our schools
